Police responded to multiple gun-related incidents across the city over the weekend, including shootings in the Fillmore and Bayview districts that resulted in injuries.

In the first shooting, which took place on Friday just before 11pm on the 1100 block of Fillmore Street, a male suspect walked up to two men, 48 and 47, produced a gun, and fired several rounds.

Both victims suffered non-life-threatening wounds and were transported to a hospital for treatment. The suspect fled on foot and was last seen heading south on Fillmore Street.

At 5:20am on Saturday, officers from Taraval Station arrived at the intersection of San Jose Avenue and Farallon Street to investigate a report of gunfire. Although no injuries were reported and no property was damaged, police found bullet casings at the scene.

On Saturday night, officers from Bayview Station visited a hospital to speak to a 37-year-old man who was wounded by gunfire at Wayland and Girard streets in the Portola district at 11:18pm.

No suspects were apprehended, and the victim transported himself to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Early Sunday morning, just after 3:04am on the 1300 block of Polk Street, four male suspects fired multiple gunshots at a 30-year-old man. Although the victim was not injured, his vehicle was damaged, and the perpetrators were not arrested.

Anyone who has information about any of these incidents is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
