By Hoodline - Published on April 03, 2018.

Four years ago, we released an app to make our coverage easier to read, but on May 1st, we're phasing it out.

A dedicated group of readers continues to use the app, but because we haven't been making improvements, it's starting to show its age.

Instead of offering a subpar experience, we decided that the best course of action was to shut it down. After May 1st, the Hoodline app will no longer be available for download and will stop updating with new stories.

To keep up with our latest coverage, please sign up for email notifications. You can receive individual stories from preferred neighborhoods, a daily reading list that's delivered at 6pm, or Hoodline Weekly, a newsletter with our top stories.

Thanks very much for reading Hoodline!
