A new nail salon has made its debut in the neighborhood. The Uptown newcomer, called Gloss Nails and Spa, is located at 630 S. Carrollton Ave.

Located at the corner of Carrollton and Hampson Street, this new spa offers a number of services like manicures, pedicures, gel polishes and colorings, almond-milk bath soaks, hot towel treatments, waxing, eyelash extensions, dip powder with cuticle trimmings, and nail art. 

Gloss Nails and Spa has just one review on Yelp so far.

"They did a good job on my gel manicure and took their time," wrote Alexis C., who reviewed the salon on June 17. "They offer water and wine, but the atmosphere could be a little more welcoming. Perhaps adding a TV or playing some music that doesn't stop when a customer has to pay on the iPad — but I'll definitely go back."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself. Gloss Nails and Spa is open from 9:30 a.m.–7 p.m. on Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
