Six months after Outer Richmond dive bar Tee Off Bar & Grill suddenly closed, it looks like a new owner is taking a swing at the location.

In recent weeks, workers have boarded over the facade at 3129 Clement St. (between 32nd and 33rd avenues) for renovations.

A permit on file with the city indicates plans to bring a bathroom into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, but no other significant changes.

The location in November 2017.

Applications on file with the state indicate that the liquor license is being transferred to a Shuai Liu, the same name listed on the ABC license for neighboring Japanese karaoke cafe, Akiba (3141 Clement St.).

When reached for comment, representatives at Akiba declined to confirm any kinship to the site now under renovation, so we'll continue to follow up on new developments at this location.
