Police arrested a woman in the Mission on Saturday afternoon as part of a homicide investigation.

Around 1 p.m. on June 2, police took a 47-year-old female suspect into custody inside a residence on the 200 block of 14th Street after receiving "a report of a possible homicide."

Pending an investigation by the Medical Examiner, police have declined to release any details about the victim, who reportedly suffered injuries and was discovered deceased at the scene.

Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.

Here’s why we usually don’t include suspect descriptions in crime reports.
