Police are seeking a man who entered a Western Addition home on Friday evening and shot an occupant before leaving the scene.

The incident occurred on the 1300 block of Steiner Street between Eddy and Ellis streets around 7:30 p.m. when the suspect, a man in his twenties, shot a 29-year-old man in the leg with a handgun.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction and the victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
