A new spot serving Thai ice cream, frozen yogurt and bubble tea has opened up in Metairie. Located at 3304 W. Esplanade Ave., the newcomer is called Ice Queen.
Located near Lakeside Shopping Center, this joint is rolling out ice cream flavors like matcha, strawberry, Oreo, chocolate chip, mango, passion fruit, peppermint and coffee.
Toppings include whipped cream, graham crackers and roasted marshmallows; while mix-ins include bananas, lychee, pineapple and caramel. And don't forget to wash everything down with a classic milk tea, super fruit tea or lychee oolong tea.
Ice Queen has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
"This is my favorite place to get rolled ice cream and tea," Yelper Taaryon J. said. "Believe it or not, everything is made fresh every morning, and they even have a humongous teddy bear you can take pictures with. I'll definitely be going back for more."
Yelper Theresa C. added, "The ice cream is delicious, the service is wonderful, and the ambiance is cute. What more can you ask for."
Ice Queen is open from 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon–9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
