On Friday, January 25, a 28-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a hit-and-run collision in Bayview.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at Bayshore Boulevard and Marin Street, near an on-ramp to the US-101 highway. After striking the victim, a pedestrian, the driver fled the scene. 

The pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries, but is expected to survive, police said Monday.

Officials are still seeking the suspect, who was possibly driving a black sedan. No arrest has been made.
