Seven adults and one child were displaced last night after a one-alarm fire broke out in a residential building at 272 Oxford St. (at Felton) in the Excelsior, the San Francisco Fire Department said.
The blaze was reported at 8:57 p.m., according to officials, and was extinguished by 9:20 p.m. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, and the blaze remains under investigation.
The Red Cross has been enlisted to assist residents unable return to their homes.
