Photograph

A struggling street photographer, pressured to marry by his grandmother, convinces a shy stranger to pose as his fiancée. The pair develops a connection that transforms them in ways that they could not expect.

Set to be released on Friday, Aug. 2, "Photograph" already has a Tomatometer Score of 79 percent and an Audience Score of 67 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Like Polaroids and introverted people, 'Photograph' takes its time developing," noted Brad Wheeler of the Globe and Mail, while the Detroit News' Adam Graham said, "'Photograph' has a ways to go to sell its central love story. But Batra's touch is so tender that 'Photograph' builds a sweetness that overcompensates for its shortcomings."
