Women's History Tea

From the event description:

The Propylaeum is excited to be hosting an afternoon tea celebrating Women’s History with a program entitled “Skirting the Issue - Indiana's Historical Women Artists and Their Search for the Time and a Place to Paint." About the program: Professional storyteller Stephanie Holman has been creating and sharing stories across the Hoosier state for 30 years. A past commission to tell about women artists in the Indiana History Center book "Skirting the Issue: Stories of Indiana's Historical Women Artists" resulted in the tale of three Brown County artists and now has grown to include the story of Indianapolis artist Ruth Pratt Bobbs. A full-time children's librarian, Stephanie loves animating Indiana history and past commissions touch on subjects such as World War II, Red Skelton and most recently on the Angel Mounds State Historic Site. Please join us for an afternoon of tea, a delightful program, raffle and lovely piano music.

When: Saturday, July 20, 1:15-4 p.m.
