Rockwell brings loungey vibes, LED light shows to the MarinaPhoto: Rockwell/Yelp

A new lounge has made its debut in the Marina. The fresh arrival, called Rockwell, is located at 3200 Fillmore St.

Taking over the former Sabrosa space, Rockwell ditches that spot's cantina concept for a contemporary nightclub feel. Rockwell boasts a dance floor, booth seating, an LED screen for video projections — and, of course, a full bar. Reservations for groups can be made in advance, and the space is also available for private events.

With a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Rockwell is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Vadik A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 6, wrote, "Amazing spot ... nice ambience and decor! Great place to grab a drink!"

Yelper Jessica L. noted, “Venue is pretty nice, with a large bar. There's a decent-sized dance floor with hip-hop music. Good place to grab a drink, chill with friends and dance"

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Rockwell is open from 10 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed the rest of the week.)
