Ever find yourself craving both ramen and fried chicken? You're in luck: there's a new spot just for you in the Marina. Called Yokozuna Ramen Tavern, the fresh arrival is located at 1968 Lombard St.

Yokozuna Ramen Tavern offers guests a Japanese and American soul food fusion concept, with a menu focused equally on traditional ramen and fried chicken.

Ramen at this new spot is available in three varieties — barbecue shoyu, tonkotsu and spicy tonkotsu — which come topped with meat, egg, veggies and more (extra toppings are available, too).

On the soul food side, the restaurant offers two-piece chicken and waffles, chicken sandwiches with chili honey or Sriracha mayo, and baskets of tenders. Sides include pork buns, Japanese-style wings and more.

Yokozuna Ramen Tavern has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Lany M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 7, wrote, "The broth was very flavorful, the pork belly was soft and tender, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. You can taste the quality in the food."

Yelper Bolormaa B. added, "I really loved the ramen, especially the broth."

Intrigued? Yokozuna Ramen Tavern is now open. Stop in to try it for yourself.
