Mama's in Oakland is serving up its habitual value with a four-course New Year's special menu at a price that's relatively affordable and includes pot roast and a choice of starter, pasta (including a take on Mama's sugo) and dessert. They can accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diners.

Mago will be serving a decadent menu to close out 2021 that includes Tokyo turnips, Dungness crab, banana, and basil seeds; Sancocho of red snapper and chorizo; Aged beef, onion, and black trumpet tamale; prickly pear sorbet and salted caramel and chocolate tres leches.
