
Chicago Police Department apprehended Lawrence Curtis Boyle, 63, in connection to the murder of 30-year-old Sierra Jamison.
As reported by Chicago Police Department, Jamison's lifeless body was found earlier this week, in the 7800 block of South Indiana Avenue in Chicago's Grand Crossing neighborhood. She had been tragically strangled, with evidence of a struggle left at the scene.
Her family discovered the grisly scene and sought help from police officers nearby. Jamison's death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy conducted by the Cook County medical examiner's office, according to Hoodline.
During their investigations, law enforcement arrested Boyle earlier this week, and charged him with one felony count of first-degree murder. His detention hearing has been scheduled for September 22, 2023, at the 2600 S. California courthouse. The Chicago Police Department has not released any further information at this time as reported by Hoodline.
