Fighting against the time and the inferno, responders from the Elmwood Park Fire Department arrived on the scene to a demanding situation. As filmed by Chopper 7 and shared by ABC7 Chicago, visible flames were evident at the back of the home, presenting a serious challenge to extinguishing efforts. Neighbors watched, their hearts battling between hope and despair, as the fire continued its destructive path.
