
Union City cops are ramping up efforts to nab a group of burglars following a daylight jewel theft last August. Police revised their report, initially citing the wrong date for the heist which actually took place on August 14, 2023, in the Decoto District. The Union City Police Department (UCPD) has released new photographs of the suspects presumed to be involved in the incident.
The UCPD is now appealing to the public for assistance, urging anyone in the area or witnessed anything to step forward. Three female suspects, described as Middle Eastern and ranging in age from 40 to above 60, were reported to have made off with a collection of valuable jewelry. The UCPD released detailed descriptions of the trio and their get-away vehicle—a Toyota Sienna minivan with the license plate number 9AHH685. Despite the clear footage and multiple images of the suspects, their identities remain a mystery, and authorities are relentless in their pursuit.
