
A high school in Buckeye became the scene of a serious security concern when a student was discovered carrying a weapon on campus. The Buckeye Police Department intervened at Youngker High School, located near Broadway and Watson roads, after being alerted just before the noon hour on Wednesday. A school resource officer had identified the armed student, ensuring the immediate securing of the weapon, reported ABC15
Following the apprehension of the individual, authorities swarmed the school, conversing with both the staff and the student involved. The incident was resolved without physical harm, as 12News indicated there were no injuries reported. The Buckeye Police Department's Facebook post confirmed the arrest of the 15-year-old student responsible for bringing the gun to school.
