As they canvassed the neighborhood, a perimeter around the property was established, snaking through the suburban peace.
The ongoing investigation sees the Hillsborough authorities scouring through data captured by local camera systems, including residential surveillance, in hopes of identifying the invader. They have put out a call to action for the community, asking for anyone with information on suspicious persons or vehicles that had been recently seen around Orange Court to come forward.
Lieutenant Melissa Colla of the Hillsborough Police Department made a public call to action, "If you observed any suspicious persons or vehicles recently in the area of Orange Court, please call our dispatch center." The urgency behind the words conveying a department both attentive and proactive, ready to assess any tip that might lead to a break in the case.
