Three teenagers have been cuffed in connection with a shooting that left a fourth teen seriously injured last month in Stoughton, authorities announced. The arrests were made early Tuesday morning after police pieced together the events of February 23, when gunshots rang out around 11:20 p.m. on McEachron Drive. Officers who arrived at the scene found shell casings but no victim, only to later discover the teen at Good Samaritan Hospital receiving treatment for grave injuries before being transferred to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Stoughton Police Department worked in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, including Randolph Police and the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, to apprehend the suspects, identified as Christopher King-Yancey and Joseph Millwood, both 18, as well as an unamed male minor. As reported by NBC Boston, the suspected shooters were nabbed at different Randolph locations.

Officials have stated that the attack was a targeted incident, not a random act of violence. King-Yancey faces charges including armed assault to murder, discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a building, and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, while Millwood's rap sheet includes conspiracy to armed assault to murder and accessory charges. According to MassLive, both are expected to be arraigned later today in Stoughton District Court. The juvenile's charges will be processed in Dedham juvenile court, focusing on his alleged role in aiding and conspiring for the armed assault.

In a press release, the Stoughton Police Department credited the swift arrests to the support and cooperation from the Randolph Police Department, the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, and their own patrol and detective divisions.
