Tragedy struck in Clarksville, Tennessee, as two individuals were fatally shot in a residential area last night. According to WKRN, the Clarksville Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the scene at the 600 block of Martin Street shortly after 6:30 p.m. where they discovered two gunshot victims.

The deceased were later identified as local residents Savannah Lumpkin, 30, and Glenn Nicholson, 26. Police are actively pursuing leads in this case and have yet to release a motive or suspect information. The Clarksville/Montgomery County Crime Stoppers Tipline is offering a cash reward for tips that would to directly assist in solving this crime.

As the investigation unfolds, details remain scarce. WZTV noted that the Clarksville Police Department's Crime Scene Team was processing the scene while detectives began digging deeper into the events leading up to the shooting.
