Authorities in Murfreesboro are on the lookout for a duo caught on camera allegedly filching a trailer from a local storage facility. The Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) is diligently working the case, trying to zero in on the culprits who were spotted at Secure Storage Rooms on Lascassas Pike.
The heist went down on March 24, with the suspects seen in surveillance footage hooking up the stolen trailer to a dark-colored Chevy pickup truck. The trailer, as described by WSMV, sported a sizable black sticker with "Unique Exteriors" written on both its rear and side—likely a company logo or branding.
In a case of apparent repeat offense, these same individuals are under the microscope for another theft at the same facility that day. With the released video, MPD hopes public assistance will bring these suspects to justice, the individuals' faces caught clear as day in the act of larceny.
Further details about the suspects and their misdeeds have been requested by the Murfreesboro authorities, who are urging anyone with information to step forward. Seen on a video released this Friday, the subjects were captured by WGNS Radio trying to connect the trailer to the aforementioned vehicle.
The story has garnered attention, with clips of the surveillance video circulating on social media as of late. FoxNashville helped in drumming up awareness by sharing the footage with the hope that the eyes of the community might lead to a break in the case.
