The two male victims were reportedly traveling west on Miramar Parkway when the impact sent them flying through the air. The scooter was left in pieces and caught fire, adding to the shocking aftermath witnessed by bystanders. Despite the severity of the crash, the men sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and were quickly transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, which was confirmed by the reports from the scene.
