Get ready, Plantation, because Burtons Grill & Bar is bringing its upscale dining experience to your neck of the woods. According to a recent announcement on Burtons Grill & Bar's website, this Massachusetts-born eatery is slated to open its doors at the Market on University plaza on May 21, seven years following its successful debut in Boca Raton. Foodies in Florida can look forward to a generous 6,200-square-foot space complete with an interior boasting 175 seats, a 50-seat private dining room, and two patios for those balmy Floridian nights.

John Haggai, CEO of Burtons Grill & Bar, couldn't contain his excitement. "We couldn't be more thrilled to become part of the Plantation community," he expressed in a statement on Burtons Grill & Bar's official website. Haggai further stated, "We have incredibly loyal guests and a vibrant restaurant nearby in Boca Raton, and we are eagerly anticipating opening a second location in southern Florida." They aren't just offering your average fare either. The restaurant takes pride in its diverse menu offerings, ranging from cheesesteak spring rolls to General Tso bowls, Mediterranean chicken risotto, and a variety of mouthwatering burgers and entrees.

But Burtons isn't the only spot sprucing up South Florida's dining scene. According to the Sun Sentinel, Piu Argentinian Ice Cream is bringing its helado, a unique blend of Italian Gelato and traditional ice cream textures, to Davie later this year. Meanwhile, Delray Beach is about to get a whole lot sweeter with the opening of Sugar Factory American Brasserie, which is expected to bring its celeb-endorsed candy creations and over-the-top menu items like a Flaming Hot Cheetos Burger, to Atlantic Avenue this summer.

In Boynton Beach, flavors of Korea will be on full display when ROK Prime Korean BBQ opens alongside its 12-year-old sibling restaurant in Lauderhill, a move announced following the 2022 closure of Bap Bistro in Sunrise. And for those with a taste for the unusual, Man Ray in Lake Worth Beach aims to satiate with its Dadaist-Surrealist-inspired dining experience, having taken over the former C.W.S. Bar + Kitchen. Both establishments are on the docket to welcome guests later this year, so it seems South Florida's food extravaganza shows no signs of slowing down.
