The Fashion Outlets of Chicago in suburban Rosemont continues to bolster its retail offerings with the opening of two popular clothing brands, Vuori and Sandro. According to an NBC Chicago report, Vuori, known for its athleisure clothing, has launched its only Midwestern outlet store on level two of the center at 5220 Fashion Outlets Way. The brand's expansion in the Chicago area includes stores at Old Orchard Mall and Oakbrook Center Mall, alongside locations in Lake View and the Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, the Parisian fashion brand Sandro has also opened its doors on the same level as the mall. While known for its stand-alone store on Oak Street in Chicago, and its availability at Bloomie's in Old Orchard, and Bloomingdale's on North Michigan Avenue, the outlet presence marks a new venture for the brand, into the high-traffic discount shopping arena. These two new outposts join a collective of more than 130 designer outlet stores at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, a list that includes names like Aritiza and Lululemon.

Looking ahead, the Fashion Outlets of Chicago will soon welcome another prominent European fashion name. The Daily Herald has recently reported that Maje, a women's fashion boutique under the SMCP Group, is poised to open its first Midwest outlet at the shopping center this coming September, with Sandro planning to follow suit in 2024. Maje, founded in Paris in 1998 by Judith Milgram, offers a range of bold, and modern pieces for women.

As part of the expansion strategy, Laura Yetman, vice president of retail and business development for SMCP North America expressed excitement about the new openings, "We are excited to announce the opening of our first outlet for Maje in the Chicago area at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago," Yetman conveyed. Emphasizing the importance of the shopping center, Yetman noted that these stores symbolize an opportunity to build upon the success enjoyed by the brands' full-price boutiques and department store concessions over the years. With a strong retail mix already in place, the addition of these outlets is likely to draw further consumer traffic and strengthen the mall's portfolio of high-end discount shopping options.
