Comedy powerhouse Kevin Hart is set to bring his "Acting My Age" tour to the intimate setting of Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, as announced by the performer himself. Preparing to enchant audiences with his renowned humor on November 17, Hart's decision to opt for a smaller venue deviates from his usual arena-sized gigs. Presale tickets are slated to be available Tomrrow, with general ticket sales opening on July 19 at KevinHartNation.com, reported WRTV.
Hart's Murat Theatre show comes on the heels of his previous tour, "Reality Check", which, according to WTHR, was the highest-grossing comedy tour for both 2022 and 2023. Indianapolis fans now have the chance to see Hart live in a cozier setting, contrasting his last show which saw him selling out massive venues like the Crypto.com Arena last year. The tour, which previously kicked off in June in Westbury, New York, will ultimately conclude in Hart's home turf of Philadelphia in December.
In alignment with creating a more personalized show experience, the event's organizers have declared the performance to be phone-free. According to WRTV, phones will be secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival at the venue, and can only be accessed within specifically designated Phone Use Areas. The initiative aims to foster a deeper connection between Hart and his audience, as he shared his intention: “'Acting my Age' is my ninth tour and I wanted to change things up by creating a more intimate environment. This hour is about connecting with the audience and feeding off the crowd’s energy and laughter."
Fans looking for an exclusive experience have VIP tickets to choose from, though these come in a limited quantity for select dates. As Hart's previous shows have been known to sell out, securing a spot at the Murat Theatre is expected to be competitive. Attendees can look forward to an evening of candid humor and personal engagement with one of the world's most recognized comedians, in a setting that promises to be uniquely distinct from the large-scale spectacles Hart is known to headline, FOX59 remarked.
