
Early this morning, the San Francisco Fire Department responded quickly to a fire in a residential building on Beaver Street. According to the San Francisco Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the scene of the blaze at 159 Beaver St. at 9:04 AM, mere minutes after the initial report. The three-story structure was seen emitting smoke from the upper levels when fire crews reached the location.

The building's only occupant, along with her pet, met the response team. She had safely evacuated before the crews arrived, a move credited to having a prepared escape plan. The San Francisco Fire Department noted, "This is an example of having a plan and executing the strategy to ensure that you and your companions are safe."
With an aggressive attack on the flames, the fire department worked diligently to contain the fire to the original site, preventing it from spreading to adjoined residential structures. Their efforts proved effective as the fire remained isolated to the originally afflicted home at 159 Beaver St. The success was also marked by the firefighters' ability to extinguish the fire within one hour of their operation initiation.
