Bobby Flay, the celebrity chef known for his grilling skills, is set to make a splash in Utah with the opening of his co-founded concept, Bobby’s Burgers. The much-anticipated eatery is scheduled to throw open its doors at University Place in Orem come November, placing its inaugural Utah footprint right in time for the holiday rush. According to a Restaurant News Release, the establishment will be part of a broader plan, including a span of nine new sites across Utah over the next five years, as forged in a partnership with industry expert Joe Sample.
"Our commitment to the brand is to open nine new sites across the state within the next five years," Joe Sample explained, expressing a determination to briskly expand following a flagship opening's success in Charlotte. "We’re excited to build upon this momentum and introduce Bobby’s unbeatable burger experience to even more communities in Utah," he added, as per Restaurant News Release. Enthusiasm isn't solely tied to prospects, three additional locations in the state are reportedly well underway.
The first of the chain's sites is notably positioned between Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University, tapping into a student demographic. The menu brings signature items like the "Crunchburger," with its novelty inclusion of potato chips, and the "Nacho Burger" which boasts a mix of queso, jalapenos, and tortilla chips. The delectable oddities don't end there, cheese fries, chicken sandwiches, a unique pistachio-flavored milkshake, alongside breakfast offerings round out the options. Guests will find the restaurant ideally situated at the front main entrance of University Place Mall, across from Sephora, the new outpost is revealed to host 30 indoor seats and a further 10 on an outdoor patio, as noted by ABC4.
