The Columbus Police Department is on the lookout for a young male suspect following a gas station robbery that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning. The Circle K near Exit 64 of I65 was the scene of the crime, where, at 3:53 a.m., a man entered the convenience store, brandished a handgun, and fled with cash, as per the Columbus Indiana Police's official website.
Described as a white man in his late teens or early twenties, the suspect was reported to be wearing jeans and a black sweatshirt stained with bleach, coupled with a black ski mask. Authorities have revealed the individual made off with approximately $170 and that, thankfully, there were no physical injuries reported from the incident.
