Earlier, the San Diego Police had issued an urgent plea to the public for assistance locating Noriega, who was last seen wearing a blue and grey long-sleeved plaid t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes, according to a report by Hoodline. The search involved multiple avenues of outreach, including social media, where details of Noriega's appearance and last known location were shared in hopes that anyone could provide information that might lead to his safe return without delay.
Noriega, described as a Hispanic male with gray hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’7” in height and weighing around 150 lbs, was last spotted near Milbrae Street and Ocean View Boulevard at around 9:30 p.m. yesterday. The police leveraged social media actively, posting a photo and description of Noriega on their official Facebook page to amplify their search efforts.
