A Palm Beach Gardens man, identified as 35-year-old Kenneth Constantine, faces charges of video voyeurism following his alleged misconduct at a South Florida shopping mall. According to CBS12 News, Constantine was apprehended after accusations arose that he placed his cell phone over a dressing room stall at an H&M store in Sawgrass Mills Mall, attempting to record two women inside on July 29.
The situation escalated when the women confronted him prompting him to flee the location, Sunrise police have stated. After authorities released images of the suspect, tips from the public aided in Constantine's arrest. While operating a fitness business in Broward County, Constantine is also a resident at Avenir, a private community in Palm Beach Gardens, which is what police records have indicated.
Further details from NBC Miami report that Constantine had appeared on season 10 of the television show American Ninja Warrior and has been a personal trainer at Oakland Park's Konstant Fitness. Those familiar with Constantine expressed their disbelief upon hearing the charges laid against him, "We’ve known him for 15 plus years and this is complete news to us. As far as we know, he’s just been a consummate professional. His clients love him and trust him. Obviously, we do, too, we’re just shocked and saddened by the news," recounted a colleague who requested anonymity.
Addressing Constantine's personal life, the aforementioned colleague described him as a family man reporting that, "He’s married. We know his wife very well, great relationship. We’ve met several times, had dinner together, just shocked," he said, despite the charges that are stark in contrast to the man they thought they knew. At the time of reporting, jailed on a $75,000 bond, the outcomes of the arrest and charges against Constantine remain pending further developments, it's unclear if there are additional victims yet to be identified, Sunrise police reported.
