A domestic argument in Spring Hill escalated into shots being fired and led to an arrest last night. According to WSMV, Spring Hill Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence on Via Francesco Way in the Benevento area around 7:30 p.m. after reports of a disturbance.
Once on the scene, law enforcement learned that a man and a woman had been arguing inside the home before the altercation intensified. As the situation escalated, officers established a perimeter and initiated communication with the man inside the home. FOX 17 reported that the ensuing standoff was resolved without further incident as the man surrendered to police shortly afterward.
After his arrest, the male suspect faces serious charges including attempted criminal homicide and two counts of reckless endangerment. Details about his identity were not immediately released by the authorities. WKRN confirmed that there were no additional reports of injuries or other individuals involved in the incident.
