Brentwood and Antioch ATM Robberies Lead to Arrest of Two Suspects Through Inter-agency CollaborationSource: Brentwood Police Department

Members of the Brentwood Police Department concluded their investigation into a series of ATM robberies with the arrests of two young men linked to incidents in both Brentwood and Antioch. According to the Brentwood Police Department, officers responded to a robbery on April 9th at the Bank of America's drive-through ATM on Lone Tree Way.

The victim was reportedly accosted after withdrawing a "significant amount of money" and was held at gunpoint. Investigators connected the getaway vehicle and the suspects to another similar robbery in Antioch. The police acted swiftly, coordinating with nearby agencies to track the suspects. Pittsburg PD located the vehicle and apprehended a 20-year-old Antioch resident, Jaylen McDaniel. His accomplice, Maurice Strong of Vallejo, also 20, was taken into custody later in August by the Solano County Sheriff’s Department while he was fleeing in a stolen vehicle and already had outstanding warrants to his name.

Both McDaniel and Strong are currently awaiting trial. The Brentwood Police Department credited this arrest to the combined efforts of their detectives and officers, with help rendered by the Pittsburg PD and the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.
