In a recent update from IMPD, "Missing Persons Detectives safely located Selenia Evans," according to a report by FOX59. Prior to her safe recovery yesterday evening, concern was heightened due to the mention that Evans might have been in need of medical attention.
Evans was previously reported to be last seen on Monday, Sept. 23, in the 4400 block of Winthrop Avenue, which is near the Indiana School for the Deaf. The IMPD had sought to immediately locate Evans, noting she "has several diagnoses and may be in need of medical attention," according to a statement obtained by FOX59. Officials had been asking the public to actively keep a lookout and to report any potential sightings to authorities.
During the time of her disappearance, IMPD provided a description of Evans as 5'5" in height, weighing approximately 135 pounds, with brown hair and eyes—details that were crucial for the public to help in identifying her. WTHR reported her physical attributes and highlighted the urgency of the matter, reiterating the call to directly contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana for anyone with information.
