An early morning shooting incident in Indianapolis has left one woman hospitalized following a domestic dispute. According to WTHR, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) reported the shooting on the far east side of the city shortly before 4 a.m. on September 5.
Officers were called to the scene in the 8700 block of Calbert Court, where they found a woman with gunshot wounds. Initially in critical condition, her status was later updated to stable at a local hospital. IMPD has a man in custody in connection with the shooting, the gravity of the situation amplified by the presence of children at the time of the incident.
