
Tragedy struck Indianapolis' east side Tuesday afternoon as local law enforcement responded to a fatal shooting incident. According to a report by FOX59, around 2:40 p.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of N. Post Road. At the scene, near a plasma donation office and in the vicinity of 38th and Post, they discovered an individual inflicted with gunshot wounds.
The situation became urgent when the victim was pronounced dead around 3:20 p.m., according to IMPD and reported by WTHR. The shooting occurred at a medical facility, adding a tragic twist to the events. The suspect fled the scene, and medics arrived shortly after, confirming the victim's death.
