
Authorities in Springville are ramping up their search for a suspect following a distressing shooting incident that left one man wounded on Sunday evening. According to ABC4, the Springville Police Department has alerted the public that the suspect fled the scene after firing three rounds into the victim, and is currently considered "armed and dangerous."
In a rapidly developing situation, the police immediately launched an intensive manhunt across the region with the assistance of neighboring agencies, as FOX 13 reports, the suspect ran north and then eluded capture by escaping on a motorcycle. Currently, at large, the suspect is a Hispanic male of around 5’6” in height, seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black hoodie, a black beanie cap, and red high-top tennis shoes at the time of the shooting.
While the victim continues a slow process of recovery, the nature of the shooting is still shrouded in uncertainty. Springville police have yet to establish if the shooting was a targeted attack or a senseless act of random violence. "The suspect is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous," cautioned the Springville police, as obtained by KSL.
