As winter arrives, fans look forward to the engines starting up in May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tickets for the 2025 season are now on sale, including for the 109th Indianapolis 500 and the NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400. According to FOX59, tickets are available for a series of events that will continue the Speedway's racing tradition.
The announcement came Wednesday morning, with IMS President J. Douglas Boles shared a resonant message: "After an unforgettable 2024, it's now time to start looking forward to the 2025 schedule at IMS and welcoming fans back to the Racing Capital of the World for another racing season." Boles also pointed out that "Other than renewal, buying now provides the best available seats at the lowest prices we offer and is a perfect time for our fans to make plans to be part of the many great racing events at IMS in 2025," per WTHR's coverage.
In addition to the iconic races, the schedule features the Sonsio Grand Prix, Miller Lite Carb Day, the Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit, and the IMSA TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks. Families will be pleased to know that children 15 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult ticketholder at general admission areas for all 2025 racing events. According to 21AliveNews, tickets can be purchased online or in person at the IMS Ticket Office during business hours.
"Everyone should experience it at least once," race fan Gary Cerasale told FOX59, describing the electrifying sensation of race start. "Your whole full body is feeling it. Your hair stands up on your neck." Similarly, fellow enthusiast Kathy Baker spoke to FOX59 of the "nostalgia" and "excitement" that the events held.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is known for its thrilling sounds, fast racing, and impressive machines. For more information, interested individuals can call IMS at 317-492-6700 or visit their website for a complete brochure of upcoming events and facilities.
