
The Hallandale Beach Police Department has initiated an urgent search for Chaim Haberfeld, a 36-year-old man reported missing since last Tuesday evening. According to WSVN, Haberfeld was last seen near the 900 block of Northeast Second Street in Hallandale Beach at approximately 7 p.m.
Authorities describe Haberfeld as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds with a slender build, and sporting brown hair and eyes. His attire at the time of disappearance consisted of a black long-sleeve shirt, and gray pants. Additionally, he is said to possess a trusting nature, which detectives fear could leave him susceptible to criminal exploitation.
Further details provided by the Hallandale Beach Police, highlighted on their official Instagram account, indicate that Haberfeld may be traveling in a red 2025 Lexus NX250, with the Florida license plate BQ35RK. The vehicle was last spotted via License Plate Readers in Miami-Dade County, a clue that might prove critical in pinpointing his current location.
