In an announcement released on the city's official website, City of Lawrence shared the mouthwatering lineup of food vendors for the upcoming Christmas Tree Lighting event. The selection ranges from the hearty comfort dishes of Scratch House Kitchen & Catering to the sweet indulgences offered by Mr. Bonbon and Shaved Ice Unlimited.
Revelers can also look forward to cooling off with Moo & Lou Frozen Treats, and for those craving a twist of Latin flavor, 3 Marias Mex Food Truck will have their doors open. The festivities are scheduled for Saturday, Nov 30, at Lawrence Civic Plaza, with the skating rink and vendors operating from 2-7 PM, a parade swirling through from 5-6 PM, and the capstone variety show and tree lighting taking place from 6-7 PM.
In addition to the delectable fare, the event promises a variety of other vendors, ensuring there's something for everyone. On the docket, there's Chiro 1st Chiropractic aiming to offer holiday stress relief and The Lazer Lab, which will showcase intricate laser-cut designs. Art aficionados will appreciate the crafted works from Giovana's Peruvian Art, while those seeking a touch of whimsy can find it with Gnanas Gnomes. And for those in need of some sparkling accouterments, Margy Jewelry and Paparazzi are set to bedazzle attendees.
With such a lineup, it's clear that this year's A Lawrence Christmas event is poised to deliver a fusion of cultural delights and yuletide joy.
