According to the CPD's news release, she was last spotted on the 900 block of East 133rd Street and her appearance has changed since she no longer has blond highlights. When Jaleeyha was last seen she wore dark blue pants, and a gray short-sleeve shirt, an update that stands in contrast to prior descriptions that may have mentioned different attire or physical characteristics.
The authorities are seeking the public's assistance in locating Bates and have encouraged anyone with information to immediately contact Area 2 S.V.U. at 312-747-8274 or to dial 911.
