Concord Police Department is currently probing into an armed robbery that shook the local community at Valliani Jewelers. The Sunvalley Shopping Center establishment became the recent target of a heist that has left residents and shop owners anxious and searching for answers.
Details of the crime emerged when, at around 6:10 PM yesterday, an unspecified number of hooded and masked individuals stormed the jewelry store. Witnesses reported that the suspects came armed not with guns but with hammers, which they used to smash the glass displays and grab a cache of valuables. After their aggressive raid, the perpetrators slipped away in a pair of vehicles. No physical injuries were reported.
