As of their latest updates, authorities have not released information on any arrests or identified potential suspects in the shooting.
The violence did not end at the east side bar. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to what became an onslaught of shootings within a 12-hour timeframe across the city. According to WISH-TV, additional shootings occurred yesterday night and earlier today, amassing to eight separate incidents. These included a string of shootings from East 40th Street to South Randolph Street, with victims' conditions ranging from stable to critical.
Throughout the night, emergency rooms received victims from various locations, with one individual pronounced dead at the scene near the New Yorker Bar and another in critical condition.
