
Last Thursday, Livermore Police, aided by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office Dublin Police Services, apprehended two suspected thieves after a high-speed pursuit. According to the Livermore Police Department's social media post, the suspects allegedly stole several high-end fragrances from Ulta Beauty on West Jack London Boulevard before fleeing the scene in a green Acura sedan.

Quick to respond, Livermore Police Dispatch was able to quickly alert nearby Dublin Police Services to the incident. It took deputies less than 20 minutes to locate the suspect vehicle and to attempt to make an initiatory traffic stop. Livermore PD thanked Dublin Police Services for their assistance in ending the pursuit and apprehending the suspects.
After the collision, the suspects abandoned their vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but law enforcement officers were able to catch them shortly after that. The duo has been identified as 31-year-old Dquanzie Blackmon of Richmond and 38-year-old Mark Anderson of San Francisco. Both individuals are now facing charges of organized retail theft. The stolen merchandise was recovered and has since been returned to Ulta Beauty.
