The Metro Nashville Police Department is currently seeking information on a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 22-year-old Demario Hill in East Nashville, as reported by WSMV. Hill was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds inside a stationary vehicle on Delmas Avenue near Gallatin Pike late Monday night. He succumbed to his injuries at Skyline Medical Center early Tuesday morning. The detectives investigating the case have suggested that the incident might have been related to a drug transaction gone awry.
According to The Tennessean, authorities believe Hill was engaged in a transaction with the three suspects at the time of the shooting, and the suspects, who are still at large, fled the scene in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.
The MNPD has not yet released additional details about the suspects, as per WKRN.
