According to FOX59, Payne was last observed on Sunday at approximately 9:24 a.m. The Logansport Police Department is leading the search efforts and describes Payne as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 173 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes; he was seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.
As reported by WTHR, the authorities are expressing significant concern for Payne, who is considered to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance, this level of urgency underscored by the term 'Silver Alert,' a public notification system in the United States that broadcasts information about missing persons – especially seniors who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease, dementia, or other mental disabilities – to aid in their safe return.
