Shootings persisted across the city spanning from the West Side to the city's Loop and Little Village neighborhoods, involving victims ranging from teenagers to adults in their forties; for instance, two teens were shot while standing on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of South Avers Avenue, sadly the 16-year-old succumbed to his injuries, and near State and Washington Streets, a 19-year-old woman was wounded in a separate incident while walking on the sidewalk, reported to be in fair condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

One incident on Sunday afternoon turned fatal when a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were gunned down from a dark-colored sedan in Little Village, with the man later dying from his injuries and the woman was treated for a gunshot wound to her leg, as per ABC7 Chicago.

The police, working through these multiple cases, have yet to make arrests in connection with most of the shootings.
