The Chapel Hill Police Department is searching for three individuals following a break-in at H&S Pharmacy on Thursday morning. Surveillance footage shows the suspects smashing the glass front door and looking at medication behind the counter before fleeing the scene, according to WSMV.
The thieves were stopped by the pharmacy's alarm system before they could steal anything. They fled in a white Dodge Durango, heading toward I-65. Despite the damage to the door, the pharmacy quickly repaired it and resumed business, as reported by FOX17.
Owner Christopher Konecny expressed his gratitude for the support from local law enforcement and the community. "We are deeply grateful for the rapid response from law enforcement and the community’s support," he said. "Thanks to their efforts, we were able to continue serving our customers without disruption," Konecny added. Chapel Hill authorities are investigating and ask anyone with information about the suspects or a white Durango to come forward.
