A Daly City man, Khiri Roberson, 30, is facing multiple charges following a November 19 shooting in San Francisco's Bayview district that left a pregnant woman with life-threatening injuries. As reported by the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, Roberson is charged with attempted murder, firearm discharge at an inhabited dwelling, firearm possession by a felon, and resisting a peace officer.
The arrest was made after San Francisco Police Officers from Bayview Station responded to a call on the 1100 block of Hollister, where they discovered the injured woman. Found suffering from gunshot wounds, she was provided aid at the scene and later taken to a hospital. Roberson, having fled before police arrival, was later detained and is now being held without bail. The suspect has a scheduled arraignment on December 18.
According to Hoodline, the SFPD's Crime Violent Reduction Team executed a search warrant at Roberson's residence, where a firearm and other evidence were seized. The police acted on gathered probable cause linking him to the shooting that also risked the lives of a daughter and other residents caught in the crossfire in their own home.
While Roberson remains in San Francisco County Jail, the police seek further information on the case. The investigation continues to be active, and anonymous tips can be directed to the SFPD Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or by texting TIP411 with the message starting with 'SFPD'.
