A man has fallen victim to a shooting incident and has been declared deceased in the Sumner neighborhood of North Portland. The fatal event occurred early this morning, wherein the Portland Police Bureau officers were called to a reported shooting on the 8200 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard at approximately 5:15 a.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, the responding officers discovered a male who had already succumbed to his injuries. As per the details provided by the Portland Police Bureau's report, the suspect or suspects involved in the crime had left before the officers' arrival. The investigation was immediately taken over by the homicide detectives from the same precinct.
